Kids Conference
Hey Kids! Do you want to have a lot of fun throughout our conference weekend and make new friends? Do you want to learn new skills and activities? Do you have MDS, Down syndrome, or are you a sibling of someone who does? Then come join us for our Kid Konference on Saturday & Sunday!
Here are just some of the things you will do!
Ages 7 and under:
- Learn to Dance with a ballet dancer who specializes in physical therapy dance!
- Discover Science like you never have before through our volunteers from the Science Museum of Virginia!
- Do a fun art project with the Children's Museum of Richmond and display your art at the Saturday evening Banquet!
- Sing and Dance with Leonardo!
- Play musical instruments and have a great time learning new songs!
Ages 7-13
- Learn to act and put on a skit for the families during the Saturday evening Banquet!
- Sing and Dance with Leonardo!
- Make a fun art project with the Children's Museum of Richmond for a special surprise! Shhh!
- Learn some basic Karate moves from an amazing instructor!
- Learn all about chromosomes and how they look by touring Dr. Jackson-Cook's Lab!
